{Telos} from the Greek, τέλος. Meaning to set out for a definite point or goal; properly, the point or thing aimed at. A result; immediate, ultimate or prophetic. A purpose.
What is the purpose (telos) of your life?
We believe it is to become more like Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit, for the Father’s Glory.
This process is called spiritual formation. And we believe the church should be about spiritual formation.
What is the purpose of TelosCreative?
The telos of TelosCreative is to empower churches with communication strategies designed to form their people toward Christ and his Kingdom.
We want to see your church be a force for Christ in a world that wants to deform your people to be more distracted, divided, and disrupted. Spiritual formation is not exclusive to the church, it’s a human thing, not a Christian thing.
What is the Telos of The Church?
We believe the telos of the Church is to form people to be more like Christ, so we all, as the body of Christ, can grow up into our Head who is Christ.
At TelosCreative we want to help you focus on being the church and forming people to be more like our Lord by empowering your communication, media, and brand strategies to do just that: from people toward Christ.
We do this through a philosophy called Formational Design.

TelosCreative was founded in 2024 by Benjamin Lawrence Walker. Benjamin has been a creative from birth. In 2006 he started volunteering on the video team at his local church and hasn’t put a camera down since. He started by videoing weddings, which turned into photographing weddings which grew into a love for graphic design, web development and digital media. In college Benjamin was involved in multiple ministries helping with their branding and marketing. After college Benjamin started working part time for a college ministry in Raleigh, NC, and part time for himself helping small business and churches with their branding and marketing.
But while his love for media was growing, so was his love for ministry. Benjamin felt his first call to ministry on March 9th, 2013 and has always been involved in some sort of ministry since. In college Benjamin fell in love with spiritual formation and began to see the beauty of becoming more like Christ. He also helped start a student-led college ministry that still meets today and graduated and went to work for a college ministry in Raleigh, NC.
In 2024 Benjamin started TelosCreative to bring his passion for media, ministry, and spiritual formation together to empower churches to use their media to form their people toward Christ.
